Last night reInteractive launched their first ever Free Ruby on Rails InstallFest hosted by Fairfax Media, Sydney. Attendees keen to learn Ruby on Rails joined us to share some pizza, drinks and ultimately learn what Ruby on Rails is all about. Each attendee was able to work at their own pace, with the reInteractive team on call for any issues, no matter how big or small. The night was a huge success, with all attendees set up and starting the development of their very own Ruby on Rails application by the end of the evening! We are looking forward to seeing what our newbies will develop tonight!
Have a look at what some of our Ruby on Rails newbies had to say:
“I’ll recommend it to anyone wanting to get into programming or ROR. The reInteractive team was so helpful and I’m so glad they’re running this for free!!” - <a href=”https://twitter.com/DhyanaScarano” title=Dhyana Scarano”>Dhyana Scarano</a>
“Everything was great- I loved that you guys could mentor us, walk us through the steps and help us troubleshoot.” - <a href=”https://twitter.com/solalfitoussi” title=Solal Fitoussi”>Solal Fitoussi</a>
“Really enjoyed the chance to work through an example with assistance from the reInteractive team.” - <a href=”https://twitter.com/Gockstah” title=Eddie Gock”>Eddie Gock</a>
