Mikel is well known in the Ruby and Rails community as a blogger, the author of the Ruby E-Mail handling library, mail, and for his extensive work on Rails ActionMailer component. Mikel is a member of the Ruby on Rails commit team and is in the top Ruby on Rails contributors world wide. He is also a past elected Committee Member of the Australian Web Industry Association.

He decided to create reinteractive in 2010, having developed Ruby on Rails applications since 2006.

Outside of Rails and work, he does quite a lot of pro bono volunteer work and likes flying his radio controlled helicopters at crazy speeds, often into walls.

Prior to working at reinteractive, Errol spent 15 years in Web Development with a variety of different technologies, for the most part running his own business. His experience exposed him to diverse web technologies and helping clients find simple and efficient solutions to their needs. This wealth of experience has given him the breadth of understanding he brings to his clients.

He's a Melbourne native and is fiercely loyal to every bit of it, the coffee, the culture, the footy and the traffic.

When he's not at work, Errol spends his time with his wife and two young girls, or helping out in his community.

Kane is an experienced General Manager and project manager having run eight businesses and managed numerous projects across many different industries. He graduated from the Deakin University MBA in 2014 and was awarded the Brookes Scholars Medal for top student.

Kane lectures and has developed courses for the Deakin University Business School. He is also a Non-Executive Director of Grow Foundation, a charity that supports children with special needs. In his spare time, Kane loves spending time with his three young girls.

Matenia is a Sydney-based developer with a passion for elegant, well-tested code. Once introduced to Ruby on Rails, she was hooked, and spent the next 5 years honing her development skills, learning related languages, frameworks and working with the full stack.

When Matenia's not hard at work, you can find her contributing to open source projects, attending, mentoring and presenting at various community events.

Bev has been working in an HR role for over 25 years. She thrives in helping others understand better their role within the group. She also has a Bachelor degree in Science for Computing and Accounting as well as a recent Diploma in Business.

In her free time she likes to spend time with her partner at the beach, travelling and shopping.

Sarah has worked in and around accounts for 15 years and has diverse experience in a variety of industries. This experience has spanned managing operations and right through to sales and other support functions, including work in the not-for-profit sector.

Originally from Country NSW she loves animals and was a competitive horse rider. She is passionate about staying healthy and fit and traveling all around the Globe. And, she's fluent in Japanese after living there for a year.

Sandra is dual-lingual originally from the Netherlands, living in Australia. Glenn's been producing database apps for over a decade in a range of environments. The last 5 years however he's been specialising in web applications, with penchant for Ruby as a language, and preference for Rails as a tool.

Having worked previously at Engine Yard supporting Rails customers across the entire stack, he's able to help not only building your app, but also configuring and scaling it.

Paolo is a generalist problem-solver with over 18 years of experience in the industry. He cut his teeth on early PHP, Perl, and Java, moved on to Python, and eventually came to love Ruby and settled down with Rails as his go-to web framework. He is passionate about making technology work for humans.

Outside of tech, he enjoys making music, riding bikes, and getting into projects like organic gardening, woodworking, and the occasional keyboard build.

Prior to joining reinteractive, Anita honed her skills in both large corporations and small businesses. She even founded her own marketing agency, demonstrating her entrepreneurial spirit and business acumen. Carl has a rich and diverse history in the arts. He’s talented in creative and graphic design, painting, drawing, photography, copywriting and music journalism.

He’s created websites, brochures, logos, videos and photographs musicians and actors for quite a few well-known entertainment and music industry labels including Rolling Stone and HEAVY Mag.

I started my career with PHP and started working with Ruby on Rails since 2015. During this journey I worked on different roles wearing different hats including backend developer, team lead and professional service engineer.

I always wanted to help others and found out programming as a weapon to conquer that. When things get automated saving lots of time from manual work, it always brings a smile on my face.

I live in Kathmandu, Nepal - a valley surrounded by the Himalayan mountains. I love travelling, spending time with nature and reading books.

Originally from the Philippines, Allan started his programming career back in 1999. He spent the next 10 years developing applications both for desktop and web using different technologies mainly PHP, Java, VB, C#, Perl and everything in between. Worked as a consultant for different clients in the Philippines for industries which cover telcos, banking, manufacturing, retail and transportation.

Allan moved to Australia in 2009 as a skilled migrant and worked initially as C# developer while in Perth. Then in 2012, he moved to Sydney where got a chance to work on a Ruby On Rails project. He found Rails to be a very popular framework in Australia and since he previously worked with Symfony (PHP) which was mostly inspired by Ruby On Rails, he found it easy to learn the new language. He spent the next 10 years using Ruby On Rails as the main language/framework of choice for web development projects. He still occasionally tinkers around with some other technologies such as Elixir/Phoenix, Go, and Python and picks interests in the development pipeline and dev automation tools.

When he is not on his computer, he loves riding a motorcycle, playing mobile games or going recreational fishing.

Charles started his software development career using Ruby on Rails from the get-go, and up to date is still passionate about building web applications with Ruby on Rails alongside Javascript for full stack applications.

David learnt Ruby on Rails while working on numerous e-commerce sites built with the Spree open source framework package - the most popular open source e-commerce solution built with Ruby on Rails.

When not working on professional projects he tries his hand at making games to sharpen his programming skills.

George is based in Manilla. He completed a Degree in Computer Science and while studying, developed a passion for object-oriented software design. While he worked primarily with Java applications while studying, his first professional project was built on Ruby (and Rails.) The simplicity and flexibility of Ruby convinced him to change his primary work focus.

While he has experience in PHP, Elixir and Phoenix, his heart keeps migrating back to Ruby.

When he’s not working he enjoys listening and playing music, and spending time with his wife and 2 children.

Isacio is a web infrastructure and cyber security specialist, holding a B.S. in Computer Networking, with over five years of experience with cloud technologies, datacenter and networking technologies, as well as offensive and defensive cyber security.

He enjoys learning, not only about technology but also about other subjects. When he is not learning new tech skills he likes to spend his time doing strength training at the local gym.

Jeriel started his career as a developer for Joomla (PHP) and found web development as very interesting. He then transitioned to Ruby on Rails development and stayed with it because of its simplicity and ease of development.

When he’s not programming, Jeriel is traveling either locally or internationally to see and experience different heritage and culture. He’s also into watching movies and anime series.

My journey into coding began in high school, driven by a curiosity about the inner workings of online games like Ragnarok. This exploration ignited my passion for programming, setting the stage for my career.

Mohammad is a Software Engineer with over 17 years experience in development and delivery of Software Solutions to clients globally. His strength and interest is in programming, particularly with the Ruby on Rails framework for web and mobile applications.

He has experience ranging from startups to large corporate and institutional clients. His passion is learning new tech and expanding my knowledge.

Neil explored various programming languages, including Java, PHP, and Android development, before discovering his passion for Ruby. Its elegance and developer-friendly nature made it his favorite. Outside of coding, Neil enjoys running, reading books, and immersing himself in flight simulation.

Paulo began his career as a developer creating web applications with PHP and Laravel. He then transitioned into creating interfaces for Rails applications with Javascript and React.

He has been honing his skills with startups in Asia-Pacific and Europe, developing web applications and managing projects. He values good communication the most and believes that it is prerequisite to one’s growth and success.

Aside from software development, Paulo is also passionate about sports and music. He participates in competitive events for basketball, soccer, and ultimate. If all that isn’t enough, he also plays the guitar, with an aim to be half decent at playing the blues.

He lives in Hetauda, Nepal, just a few kilometers outside Kathmandu. He’s a passionate and dedicated developer who enjoys his work and loves to explore new places.

Suman lives in Bhaktapur, Nepal - a small but incredibly beautiful country.

Studied Bioinformatics at uni but found the Biology side kind of boring and focused on the computing side. He first started programming something useful in Perl then moved onto PHP and web development before discovering Ruby in 2011.

He self taught himself Ruby while trying to learn French and live in France, which was where he scored his first Ruby job with a small start-up in Paris.

Outside of work you’ll probably find him with his kids on a bike ride, going on long runs, playing golf or just hanging out with family and friends.

I am passionate about Cloud Operations and Development and always looking to learn and work with emerging technologies. I live in Eldoret City, Kenya with my wife and two daughters.
