What We Did & How We Did It

Ag Consulting Group (ACG) is a US-based independent agricultural consulting company, offering a wide range of services to its farmer clients. They ensure their client’s grain is delivered to the best market, advise on profitable marketing opportunities for current crops as well as one to two years into the future. They offer assistance in the planning of logistics, a full brokerage service, and make sales recommendations based upon global, national, and local information gathered from numerous sources.

Proprietary Software for Agriculture Consulting

A key component of the ACG offering is their easy-to-use proprietary software which inputs the financial data generated from a farm and presents it in various reports including live profit and loss reports, expenses per acre, break-even analysis per bushel, and sales tracking. This enables farmers to maximise their profits by making the right decisions at the right time.

They were struggling to get issues fixed and new features implemented in a timely manner so ACG Founder Justin Bash searched for a new development partner. He wanted a company who could better support ACG’s growth, keeping ACG’s existing software up-to-date and functional, while adding on new features.

It includes the set-up and maintenance of the infrastructure, the tooling and monitoring set-up, any development or updates necessary to ensure compatibility between the application and our infrastructure and pushing the managed stack live.

Applications can be hosted in one or more of the eleven geographic regions currently available to AWS customers, reducing local latency.

CodeCare is reinteractive’s monthly subscription service for Ruby on Rails applications, providing proactive code maintenance and ongoing improvements. This professional service includes 10 hours of development for an application per subscription month (more hours are added by adding more months).
